One call, start to finish
Who answers, who calls back, who turns up and who writes the receipt, told as a single job from the first ring.
It is 9.40 on a Tuesday night in Sango and the washing machine hose has split. The phone rings once. An automated assistant answers, asks for a name, a number and an address, hears the word wet, and flags the call as urgent. It reads the number back digit by digit. No price is quoted; the assistant does not know the carpet.
Twenty minutes later a person rings back. The scheduler asks whether the water has stopped, says to get the furniture up on foil, and books the first slot in the morning. For a job with an inspection date instead of a leak, the same person books backward from the date. For a sofa and two rooms, they offer tomorrow afternoon.
At 8.15 a technician arrives in a van with a truck-mounted extraction unit, air movers, a moisture meter and a UV lamp. They walk the room, meter the pad, find clean water and a soaked pad across half the floor, and say so. They write the price on a sheet: extraction, pad cut out and replaced, carpet dried and cleaned, two air movers for a day. The homeowner says yes. Only then does the hose come off the van.
By noon the water is out and the pad is in the van. The carpet is dried, cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial deodoriser. The air movers stay. The technician comes back the next morning, meters the floor, reads it dry, and writes the receipt: address, date, room, what was done, their name. A copy goes to the homeowner's insurer at the homeowner's request, with the moisture readings and photos.
Behind that technician is a crew: a second cleaner on bigger homes, a repair hand with a power stretcher for the rippled hallway found on the way out, a rug washer the wool rug goes to, and the scheduler who keeps month-end move-outs from colliding. The crews are independent and insured; the operator of this site books and manages the work and gives the crew's name before anything is scheduled. The referral marketing disclosure says how that works, and the about page says how crews are chosen.
